Jonathan Jones, Associate AIA
Jonathan spent a portion of his early life in the US Army where he was an infantry team leader with the 187th Infantry Regiment “Rakkasans” at the 101st Airborne Division “Air Assault.” He completed various training courses including Junior Leadership Development, Sniper Training, Long Range Marksmanship and qualified for the Army Rifle Team.
Having completed his service in the Army, Jonathan was accepted at the New Mexico State Police Academy. After a short stint, he was accepted at the University of New Mexico School of Architecture and Planning where he completed undergraduate and graduate degrees in architecture.
He has more than 18 years of experience in architecture with 14 in the role of project manager. He has worked on numerous projects including government and public works. He has led projects for clients that incorporate a high-level of security, screening and safety, including US Border Patrol, Albuquerque International Airport, US Forest Service and McCarran International Airport.
