Ofelia Soriano is a project designer with five years of K-12 school architecture experience and aides in all phases of projects, including schematic design, design documents, construction documents, bidding and negotiation and construction administration.
Ofelia’s experience includes meetings with clients, visits with Division of State Architect officials for project approvals, and coordinating with consultants at all stages to ensure code and client requirements. She has been a part of modernizations, as well as new projects.
As project designer, Ofelia translates programmatic and operational requirements into a building plan. She develops design solutions and alternatives
that respond to the project’s spacial and functional requirements. She uses building information modelling (BIM) software to develop design and construction documents, including floor plans, reflected ceiling plans, sections, elevations and details.
