Symphony Park serves as the central public space in the new downtown development, featuring an outdoor amphitheater and concessions. In partnership with Symphony Park’s Landscape Architect, DesignWorkshop, the Tate Snyder Kimsey designed pavilions consist of a food and beverage building with a backstage component serving the outdoor park and a multi-function exterior performance venue. As the site is a brownfield site, soil remediation will be performed before construction.

The project will achieve LEED certification through energy and water use reduction, and selection of sustainable building materials. A large canopy over the stage serves the dual purpose of a band shell during performances and a shade structure for the backstage building. The project will provide educational value to the visitors through signage about all the green building features of the project.
