Background

In March 2020, TSK Architects turns 60. Despite our advancing years, we're by no means a venerable institution. We're as modern and nimble today as we were when George first opened our doors back in 1960.

We're looking for a logomark which primarily celebrates our 60th anniversary in 2020.

We're opening up this brief to the whole company by means of a design competition which will be taking place between now and January 24, 2020.

The winning design will balance our history with a sense of modernity - and have oodles of personality.

THE BRIEF

Design a logomark which celebrates TSK's 60th anniversary.

We're looking for a design with oodles of personality to serve as a signifier of 60 years of design quality and commitment to local communities.

The judges – and Windom especially – are drawn to designs that employ clever yet simple communication principles. If it's a design that references sustainability, that’s even better!

STRUCTURING YOUR ENTRY

What we need to see in submissions.

There's no registration nonsense for this contest - we know who you are and where to find you! All you have to do is email your design(s) to Hannah, and outline briefly: 

  • Where you got your inspiration

  • How you see your design working in practice

  • What sets your design apart

You can email up to 3 images of up to 3mb each to support your entry, including one feature image. You might want to share early sketches and initial logotypes, plus an image of the finished design (if you have one).

Do make them high quality though. Your feature image will be the one which will appears in an online project gallery and must be a minimum of 1440px x 810px. Ideally this image should show your final logo design.

Who can enter?

The 60th Anniversary Logo Design Contest is open to all current TSK staffers.

We believe everyone has the capacity to produce strong creative designs, so please do feel encouraged to send in your ideas, we'd love to see them.
