POSTED: 26 JUNE 2020

TSK Architects is a highly acclaimed architecture, planning and interior design firm, offering design, planning and sustainable solutions to challenges in the built environment for clients throughout California.

We first opened our doors in 1960, and quickly established a reputation for design excellence and superior client service.

Today, our practice is grounded in the belief that ideas embodied in a design should be progressive and of our time, that site and context must play an integral role in the development of a building, and that the smallest detail of any building can be just as important to the design as larger and more apparent design language.

Our team are characteristically collaborative, and we take great pride in fostering a strong team ethic between our employees and project stakeholders to design buildings and facilities which inspire communities and fulfill their needs for decades.

The Role

We’re seeking a smart, creative and self-motivated Architectural Drafter to join our Los Angeles, California studio, where you’ll leverage your skills in architecture and team working to help us deliver exceptional client projects on time and on budget. This is a great opportunity to join a highly creative, collaborative team while working on a range of project types in the built environment.

Your Main Duties

  • Perform computer-aided (CAD) or conventional drafting to produce designs and drawings

  • Lay out and plan interior room arrangements for various types of buildings

  • Bring together graphically structural, electrical, and mechanical designs to represent building plans

  • Draw plans for foundations, buildings, and structures, based on preliminary concepts, sketches, engineering calculations, specification sheets, and other data such as building codes, by-laws, space and site requirements, and other technical documents and reports to determine their effect on architectural designs.
