The Reno Sparks Convention Center is essential to the success of the regions convention and event industry.  Last renovated in the early 2000’s, the RSCC is in need of infrastructure and aesthetic improvements to remain competitive in attracting visitors to the Reno Tahoe area.  The Renovation Master Plan completed in 2017 provides guidance to the convention authority to begin a program of continual improvement and addresses a broad range of conditions from lighting to signage and wayfinding to image.  A key component of the master plan is the establishment of a new color scheme for the facility and replacement of flooring in public areas and meeting rooms.  This included replacing all carpet throughout the facility.  The renovation is ongoing and schedule for completion in 2021.
