Project Programming + Preliminary Design options and development:
Preliminary Programming + Design for a new “Zero Net Energy Campus” to consolidate City agency services for the public as well as consolidating City Services for interactive place and operations.
Site:
Existing Community Services and City Maintenance, Operations Center, including a primary City Electrical Services power plant located on the existing (15) acre site.
Site Context/Edges:
To the North, an industrial railway adjacent to the interstate 10 freeway.
To the West, operating automobile destruction facility.
To the East, exiting and operating City wide electrical power station and existing single family residential.
To the South, future development.
Programming Planning:
36,000 sf of new building construction with an anticipated Design Build construction procurement 20,000 sf renovation of existing building and structures.
Demolition of defined existing building for replacement and new services to be housed in the new building.

ZNE Design + Construction Design Criteria and requirements over the next decade.
